About
My Art is inspired from my childhood, growing up by the Canals of the Black Country in England.Folk art on the sides and decking of a Narrowboat or on an old milk jug covered in Roses and castles along with all the wildflowers on the banks of the canals. Bright loud colors in a very grey factory town, unrefined and quirky with a gypsy edge . A magical place you’d go and find spots where you could believe fairies are real away from the streets and factories.
Now I live here in New York , so much concrete and grey, no colors, I am reminded of the Black Country and how badly color is needed in our lives. So I picked up a brush and made color myself.
